The weekly NLIS Central Administration Meeting is our opportunity to delve into the nitty-gritty of library operations and long-term planning. We review key performance indicators, budget considerations, and progress on major projects. This meeting also serves as a platform for brainstorming innovative solutions to enhance our services and outreach programs. We often invite guest speakers or conduct mini-workshops to keep our administrative team up-to-date with the latest trends in library science and public administration. By maintaining a balance between structured agenda items and open discussion, we ensure that our central administration remains both efficient and creative in supporting NLIS’s mission
Activities such as
storytelling, Oral tradition of Bahamian culture, media, reading games, puzzles, miming, music, dance and dramatic plays would be featured from 28th October to 4th November 2023.
