ATTANDANCE OF BAHAMIAN ALA ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2024 DELEGATION

11-person delegation enroute to San Diego, California filled with excitement as they anticipate attendance at the American Library Association Annual Conference 2024. The group mainly comprised Library Supervisors from National Library and information Services (NLIS Bahamas) libraries in N.P., Long Island and Eleuthera and a mix of Bahamas Library Service Association members. Delegates will return to The Bahamas to impart the information garnered to their colleagues by means of seminars and mini workshops. This year’s theme of the Conference is “Discover the Difference”, with the President’s programme focusing on “The heart of our Story – A celebration of Library Workers”.
